This post is purely my thoughts on giving money to street side beggars and bargaining things with road side vendors. Any feedbacks or comments welcome.
Why do we have to judge people for giving 1 or 2 rupees in the street? Even if we are cheated by 1 Rupee it is no big deal. We are cheated by some many things in today’s world. We pay hundreds and hundreds of rupees extra to buy a branded shirt, just for that one label stitched on that piece of cloth. We pay hundreds and fifties for service tax and VAT. We would never worry about all that, but for minute or two, when we stop by the signal and to give a rupee or two we often judge people. Why can’t we let ourselves be cheated by these poor people as well when we are open to so many branded commercialistic markets?
Three things
Don’t judge people who beg in the streets. If you have money just put it for them. You are not affected if you are cheated by 1 or 2 rupee per day
Don’t bargain with people who depend on meager profit margin. Let them earn it for they just make 50 to 100 every day selling things on road
From JK “When you give something to somebody, a few rupees, don't tie yourself with that money; Give, and forget. This giving from the heart is real generosity.

Fine thinking...
I agree with your views na. But the thing is, not all some street peoples, are taking this as advantage to get the money.
Even we may noticed while in driving, some were looking good.i mean they are capable of doing some work, rather than doing like this. But even they dont want to work. In stead of, they started to beg. Even the amount 1rs or 2rs, which is not a matter of the person who donate.
But if We start give the money to the persons, who is not at all willing to work even they are capable. Its like we are encouraging them for not to work.
Thats why some peoples are started to thinking to judge, whether is that really useful for them.
Of course, its a human think - small black dots are more clear in white paper :)
