In Kanchipuram yes 100% results this time.

Home wise Pass percentage Xth Standard
Waltax Home - 100 % Pass (First Mark 435)
Kosapet Home - 94 % Pass (First Mark 377)
Kanchipuram Home - 100 % Pass (First Mark 400)

Highlights of each homes:
Waltax
: Third consecutive year with 100% Pass mark.

Kosapet: Just 4 days before Public Exam all tenth students affected by Cholera symptoms and out of 17 - 8 of them admitted in Tandairpet Govt Cholera hospital.
One of our PP volunteer (Kumaraguru) was taking classes in Hospital bed at 10 P.M for English Exam. Of these 8 - 5 students wrote their full exam from hospital only.. Hats of to the team who worked... Spl thanks to Guru, Subu, Karthick, Gopi and team...And thanks to the director who provided the permission to allow students go to exam halls from the hospital directly.

Kanchi: Kanchipuram is 70 KM from Chennai. The volunteers have only SAT and SUN to take class. Still Valliganthan, Kalanidhi, Ganesh and team has shown keen interest in conducting classes and coaching students. Spl thanks to Kanchi team for spreading SMILE in outside Chennai...

Incase if any volunteers name has been missed. I apologise but it was overall great effort by all the volunteers who has spent hours, days, months with the students to get this results.

Lets look forward to bring many more such accolades and milestones in the journey of SMILE.

One more hidden star is there .... Parvathi (Waltax)

To summary her last 1.5 years story..
She had skin problem and tumour in neck area and took leave for more than 1.5 months in 9th std (feb-mar). when she returnedl, warden refused to allow her inside as she feared (!) skin diesase may spread. Her parents decision on this was to send her as stay-in-home maid (oru veetla ye irundhu veetu velai seiya vachuttanga). on seeing her owner's kids studying, she cried and yelled to the owner to send her back to Waltax. After some days, they sent her back to home and her parents (&warden) allowed to continue in waltax ("Home la vittudunga.. enga Annanga paathuppanga nu solli azhudhu vandhutten" nu aval sirichutte sonnaall)

and the story did not end here... She had lost her father during mid of 10th and her mentally retarded mother disappeared suddenly after some weeks... I could not imagine her mind set in this situation with public exams approaching...

But yet she has managed to get 402 (against 200+ in half yearly)... Personally, I did not expect this mark from her... It is as BEST as Nandhini's 435 and Pavithra's 377....

Correct anu therla... but SMILE illai na ippadi oru ponnu pathu-paathiram theikka poi iruppalo num thonudhu...

Hats off PP... Congrats to Guna, vasu, prabu - Gopi,Guru,Subbu - valli, kala,Ganesh trios...and their friends to achieve this... (but idhu sachin 25 runs la irukkum podhe clap panra maari...)

Thanks
